This is what my mom's dining room table looked like on Thanksgiving Day. It's like a picture from a magazine, isn't it? My grandma doesn't decorate at all for Thanksgiving, but her dinner was much tastier than Mom's. Which isn't to say that Mom's wasn't good, since Grandma is a better cook than pretty much anyone in the world.

I think Mom's dining room photographs much better than it looks in real life.

My family looked like The Simpsons, sitting around the living room, watching football, and eating off of TV trays.
