I worked a close last night, stayed up too late, and had to go in early this morning. So that sucked. But I'm off this weekend, so hooray! And tonight Sara, Athena, and I are going out to dinner at iHop, and that means one thing: pecan pancakes! Now they always make me think of the line from Corrina, Corrina (one of my favorite child actress films): "Do you want to have pecan waffles with lots and lots of syrup and butter? Or do you want the slim starter with the cottage cheese and the hard-boiled egg and the tomato?" But it isn't nearly as funny typed as when she said it in the movie.

The weather has been nice, so sometime this weekend I plan to ride my bike out to the cemetery near the hospital where my mom used to work. I've never been to that one before. Yesterday was sunny and warm, and I got in a solid hour of bike-riding and picked a whole bag's worth of cans. Right now I've got the window open because there's a nice cool breeze blowing.

I'm also going to rent a child actress movie to watch this weekend. I'm still working off that list I compiled last year. I still haven't seen most of the foreign/old stuff, but the movie box at the grocery store has a surprisingly good selection of recent stuff, so there should some Dakota, Abigail, AnnaSophia, & Co.

I've trimmed Sable's nails a grand total of one time since I bought a pet nail-trimmer. He didn't even seem to notice when I did it that once, but since then, he's been whimpering and running away every time I approach him with the nail trimmer. I don't get it. Last time I tried it, he even snapped at me, which he almost never does.

Our foodstamps expire at the end of the month. *sad*

Must go wash dishes now.
