She also looks older than Beezus would be. She's also too pretty for the role. In the books, Beezus is a plain-looking tween with acne. I'm a big nerd and fly my flag high. Right on! The Ramona books are classic. The actress who's playing Mrs. Quimby (Ramona & Beezus's mom) said she grew up on them too.
