Another day off well-spent -- woo-hoo!

I've been meaning to buy a computer desk from work for months, but I kept putting it off. I'm a pro at putting things off for no real reason. But last night I worked a close and finally bought one. The sweet thing is, it originally cost $50 but I got it for $18! It was on sale for $45, and I had a 10% employee discount, a $10 coupon, and a $14 gift card.

Today I was off, so I did my laundry and put the desk together. I did almost all of it by myself, I just had to call my uncle to help me with the last step. Our computer had been sitting on a flimsy card table that we bought from Wal-Mart back in... geez, I guess it must have been back in 2005, when we got the computer. It was not made to hold a computer and didn't do it well. This desk is so much nicer. I'm sitting at it right now and I fucking love it, and it's amazing the effect it has on the whole room.

I was looking up info on child actresses earlier today and discovered this photo:



It's Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton in 1994. They both worked as child models before they became famous and apparently did a photoshoot together. It's kinda weird to see them so young and innocent.
