She was very surprised and sat right there and starting eating it. We had a great trip and enjoyed the time we spent there. She lives in a nice duplex with 2 bedrooms, large kitchen, living room and bath and has a utility room with washer and dryer so we were able to wash clothes before we left. You and Sarah should plan a trip up there. We left around 7:30 and got home by 3pm. I will write your Mom a thank-you note but I want to tell you thank-you so much for the gifts of sweets. My car starting acting up yesterday, thankfully I was on Hwy. 14 and it made it to my driveway. Eva and I were praying those last few miles home. I found Olivia home, so thankfully she could go shopping for me for Christmas dinner today. When we go to what do we do about dessert, I said who cares, we will manage with cornbread dressing and potatoe casserole and roast(the roast still wasn't defrosted this morning). When John got home from work, he mentioned yall had come by and left a bag. I almost cried. The candy and treats were just perfect! Thankyou, thankyou!!! And I will cook the beans this weekend. Poor John has 2 graveyard overtime days starting Wed. night and then thru the weekend and the nights will be cold. Hope the movie was good and the Holiday was fun. Love, connie
