Funny, I was just talking to a friend today that Jerry was the best of the detectives on L&O, any of the series. The guy from Criminal Intent just makes me nervous (the first one, not Jeff Goldblum-yuck),and I didn't care for any of the others. So sad when he retired/left the show and died shortly after.
