Tagged by my sister.

1. FACT: I was in third grade the first time I ever ate baklava. My class was studying different cultures of the world, and one kid's mom made or bought a pan of baklava when we were studying western Europe (or whatever region baklava comes from). I didn't think I would like it, but I tried some anyway. It has been one of my favorite desserts ever since.

2. HABIT: I try to walk my dog every day. He is very old, so we don't go as far as we used to, but we usually walk once up and down the block.

3. QUIRK: Almost every time I use a pen, I scribble a little line in a corner of the paper before I actually write. I do this because ink is usually slow to come out of a pen at first, and I cannot stand having to rewrite my first letter because the ink was faint for it. I have done this nearly every time I've used a pen for the last ten years. When I was in school, every page in my notebooks had little lines in the corners.

4. FACT: One of the best breakfast cereals I ever had was a Winnie-the-Pooh cereal that I ate for one week in March 2003. Its pieces were shaped like honey pots and honey bees. I bought one box of it and never saw it on the shelves again.

5. HABIT: I try to ride my bike every day.

6. QUIRK: Every now and then I get an itchy red rash on the second knuckle of my right hand. It usually clears up on its own. I have only ever gotten it on that knuckle.

7 . FACT: I saw only one movie in theaters during 2007, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. So far this year I have seen three movies in theaters: Enchanted, Atonement, Nim's Island (those three I saw in France), and Wall-E, which I just saw today. It was really good!
