Sometimes Rebecca lays under the moon...
I got to enjoy a rolling birthday this year. We recently discovered that the movie theater in the mall shows vintage movies on weeknights, so on Thursday evening, Ben, Adam, and I went to see Lawrence of Arabia. It's an epic war movie, and I wasn't crazy about it, but I had been curious to see it since here, Adam paid for my ticket (as my birthday present), and I got delicious movie theater popcorn, so I can't complain. And it did have a lot of sweeping desert scenes that were really cool to see on the big screen. They're showing Gone With the Wind there next week, and I'm hoping to go see that. I love that movie and haven't seen it in years.
On Friday afternoon, Mom treated me and Sara to lunch at a sandwich place I really like. Mmmm, pulled pork. I had to work all day on Saturday, but Boss-Man let me have a free soda. I almost said, "It's a birthday miracle! Your icy heart has melted!"
But it all came grinding to a halt this morning, when I overslept and was late to work. I've felt so ugh all day. And a cold front blew in this weekend, so we've had our heating on at night and our air-conditioning on during the day. Fortunately, Tovah sleeps in bed with me most nights to keep me warm. :)
